The partnership between Aquila Formula 1000 and Sebastian Bourghardt from Rallystudion will continue during the 2026 season. Bourghardt has been part of the series’ communications work since the 2023 season, responsible for producing news articles during race weekends – with a clear focus on the sporting core, championship development, and the drivers’ on-track performances.

This work has helped strengthen Aquila Formula 1000’s editorial profile and given the series a clear voice outward during the racing season.

Sebastian has been with us for several seasons and has a very good understanding of the series, the drivers, and what is important to convey. For us, it’s about highlighting our young talents and the sporting aspect in a correct and engaging way, and the collaboration with Rallystudion is an important part of that, says Johan Varland, promoter for Aquila Formula 1000.

Sebastian Bourghardt has extensive experience in motorsport communications and works, among other things, as press officer for the World Championship event Rally Sweden, the European Championship rally Royal Rally of Scandinavia, as well as for the Swedish Rally Championship. He also works closely with former Aquila driver Mille Johansson, the reigning Junior World Rally Champion.

Aquila Formula 1000 is a series with a clear identity and strong sporting level, especially with its focus on educating, supporting, and shaping young drivers. Being able to continue working long-term with communications during race weekends and following the drivers’ development year by year is both inspiring and motivating, says Sebastian Bourghardt.
