Aquila Formula 1000:
The Nordic Aquila Formula 1000 Series
+ Middleground
Middlegrund and Aquila Formula 1000 – Empowering and spotlighting rising talents in motorsport
MiddleGround and Aquila Formula 1000, Scandinavia’s premier introductory formula racing series, have formed a partnership with the aim of empowering and spotlighting rising talents in motorsport.
Through this partnership, MiddleGround will feature Aquila Formula 1000 drivers, telling their stories and amplifying their journeys as they take their first steps into professional racing. Together, we’re shaping a platform that celebrates passion, performance, and potential, building the next generation of motorsport champions.
The goal with this partnership is to make it easier for drivers to gain access to sponsorships by showcasing their stories and showcasing what makes every driver special. Making them more attractable and giving them a chance to put their names out on the big world.
What makes this partnership special is that Middelground offers help with showcasing stories, a powerful tool for convincing sponsorships for why they should sponsor you, what they can contribute with to drivers amazing stories. Showcasing results thanks to sponsorships and putting them in front of a story that catches the emotional highs and lows of the drivers racing career.
Alexia Danielsson

This year has been a breakthrough season for Alexia “Lexi” Danielsson. After several years in karting, Aquila Formula 1000, and Nordic 4, she scored her first Nordic 4 race victory, won her debut race in the Porsche Sprint Challenge at Anderstorp, and was selected as the first — and so far only — Swedish driver to take part in the official F1 Academy rookie test.
At just 16 years old, Lexi is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Practice pays off, and she is a prime example: learning new tracks and adapting quickly to different types of cars are invaluable skills that allow her to get the most out of any racing machine. There is still much to learn, but with her motivation and discipline, the future looks very bright.
Linus Stjernelund

This year has been a breakthrough season for Linus Stjernelund. After just 2 full years in motorsport he has already accomplished some incredible performances, podiums in NXTgen, podiums, wins and the rookie championship in the 2025 Aquila Formula 1000 championship.
At just 16 years old, Linus is proving that he has potential to become a successful racing driver: quickly adapting to new and difficult situations is a invaluable skill that allow him to shine in situations that others struggle in. There is still much to learn, but with his determination, self discipline and using every situation to his advantage, the future looks promising.
