The Nordic Aquila Formula 1000 Championship is proud to announce its collaboration with Scandinavia’s Premier Karting Championship Series, SKCC (Sydsvenskans Kart Champion Cup).
SKCC is the Nordic Region’s largest and most prestigious karting series. Boasting 390 entries that represented 8 countries across 8 competitive categories and 7 rounds of competition, last year’s championships were filled with arguably the most stacked grids in the competition’s history.
As the Nordic’s biggest and most competitive formula racing series, a collaboration between the 2 organisations is a perfect fit.
As part of the partnership, Aquila Formula 1000 will award an Aquila Certificate of Excellence to the top points scoring driver in each of the categories of OK Junior and Junior 125 at every round of the SKCC Championship.
The driver who collects the most Certificates of Excellence in their respective categories during the season will be sponsored with a fully funded test day in the Autumn.
