Albin Gustafsson will drive in the
2025 Nordic Aquila Formula 1000 Championship
with AG Racing.

As the 2024 Renault Junior Cup Vice Champion, Gustafsson makes the switch to single seater formula racing this year to contend for the 2025 Nordic Aquila Formula 1000 Championship!

Hailing from Västerås, Sweden, Albin is coming to the series after 3 very competitive seasons in the junior touring car class. Last season he claimed 2 wins and 7 further podiums culminating in his P2 finish in the standings.

Before that, he had an accomplished carreer in karting, competing on the national stage in the MKR series in the micro and mini classes from 2017-2021 with several wins and apodiums as well as finishing P2 in the drivers championship twice in the Junior 60 category.

Albin comes into the season as one of the more experienced car racers in the series, so it will be exciting to see what he can bring to the table in a formula car when the lights go out!

🎙️ “I’m super excited to be a part of the Nordic Aquila Formula 1000 Championship this year. It is going to be a transition from what I am used to driving, but I have only one aim and that is to be at the front!” ~ Albin Gustafsson

🎙️ “Albin is a great example of an accomplished young racer using the Aquila Formula 1000 platform to further develop themselves as a driver, taking the step up from the junior touring cars to the junior formula cars is a really good move for him and we know he is going to be quick!” ~ Johan Varland, Championship Promotor.
