Max Stjernelund will drive in the
2025 Nordic Aquila Formula 1000 Championship
with Team Ek Motorsport.
The younger of the Stjernelund brothers joining the Aquila Formula 1000 family this year, Max takes the step up from karting to single seater race cars at 13 years old after a relatively short career of mixed racing programs between karting and rental karts.
2024 saw him competing in the Rotax Max Challenge Sweden in Junior Max and the Swedish MKR national series in the Junior 125 category, as well as making it to the finals of Swedish Rental Kart Championship.
Despite a very short racing career Max is now stepping up to the next level, aiming for a year of building valuable experience, hoping to unlock his potential to become a future top contender in this intensely competitive series.
